Once planted throughout California and labeled as Gray Riesling, Trousseau Gris is originally from the French Alps. FWR Vineyard is one of the last remaining plantings for Trousseau Gris. The Jolie-Laide Trousseau Gris (made by Scott Schultz) is a combination of verve and savory. Allowed to ferment on the skins for a short stint, they absorb a pink, copper hue and an impressive range of aromas and flavors. All of this with medium/light texture and acid for days.
Always a highly anticipated allocation, these bottles will move quick.
